About Keynsham & District Twinning Association
Brief History
In 1977, a twinning charter was signed between the local authority Wansdyke and Libourne. Originally the link was between civic dignitaries, with the Wansdyke Twinning Association providing voluntary back up. Since then, there has been local government reorganisation and the association’s name has changed. It now functions independently with a Council representative on the Committee and its own Constitution.
